Forensics News

Students from grades six and eight at Wyoming Area Catholic School participated in Fall Forensics. It was a great learning experience for all students. Congratulations to our Forensics Stars :Richelle Fountain,Taylor Burwell, Amanda Latoski, Gabrielle Sciandra, Michael Blaine, Jessica Casterline, Teresa Toomey, Kelley Renfer, Vicki Reggie, and Nicole Carroll. During our in-school competition Nicole Carroll – Placed First, Teresa Toomey –Placed Second, and Vicki Reggie- Placed Third. Congratulations to all. Absent from the photo is Taylor Burwell.

New playground and equipment

The preschool class is enjoying the new playground and equipment. Thank you to everyone who helped and donated to the playground.

1st Grade Trip to Roba's Tree Farm

Recently, the First Grade celebrated Fall with a visit to Roba's Tree Farm and Pumpkin patch.  There, they picked out their own pumpkin, fed the animals, and wandered through the corn maze.  They also enjoyed a hay ride and pig races!

Third Grade makes rosaries

The Third grade class of Wyoming Area Catholic School recently completed rosaries which they made using a variety of materials.  Children brought them in on the feast of the Rosary October 7th .  Pictured are members of the class along with Mr. Thomas Killino, Principal and Mrs. Mary Agolino Teacher

County Commissioner visits WACS

Luzerne County Commissioner and ex Pro Football player Greg Skrepenak came in to read to the 4th grade.  He talked about the importance of reading and answered a lot of their questions about his job and his football career.
